Us here at Blue Crabs Unlimited, A small family owned business building a dream one step at a time. It all started at a young age for all of us, Brent Merson the owner, operator, and commericial waterman of Blue Crabs Unlimited grew up on the water of the magothy river in Pasadena, Md with his mother Kim Merson, and father Kenneth Merson who is also our very own manager of this company. Both starting out as recreational crabbers, selling fresh crabs to family and friends right off their own small boats on the weekends whenever they had the free time just enjoying the freedom that they had doing what they love. When Brent Merson met Samantha Beaver who is also a manager in this company in July of 2013 he learned that she had aslo grew up loving the water and worked since the age of 15yrs old in a crab house in Catonsville, Md. As time went on they started crabbing together with a friend that is also in commerical crabbing where they started learning more and more about the commerical crabbing world. One night Brent and Samantha started talking about a future, a future of  wanting to do what they love. Well how about starting a commerical crabbing company? 

Brent and Kenneth already has knowledge on the crabbing side, we all have knowledge on sales, and customer service experience. Everyone has to start somewhere why not start now. As days went by we started planning and thinking on where to begin. Brent and Samantha started working on making hand made trout lines, bait bags, and bouys while searching online for local boats for sale. One day we got a call we were waiting on! we are now proud owners of a comapany refer truck and vessel! We all have different parts on this company, Brent is our commerical waterman, Kenneth is our crabs transport who picks up our fresh crabs right from our boat, and Samantha is our location sales and advertising manager. We will never forget where we came from or who has helped us through this journey of ours. We thanks all of our family and friends for always being there and most of all our customers we couldnt make this happen without you all! We will keep this site as open and updated as much as we can. We hope to have more to share with everyone as our dreams keep moving forward.
